You may drive anywhere on the island of Cyprus, except the occupied territories (so called "Northern" Cyprus). On country, unpaved roads, you can drive no more than 2 km. Сars is tracked by GPS, so the operator will track your route and you will be charged a fine (€10 + €1 per km). This is a list of places you can't go:
- Lara Beach (Turtle Beach)
- The Fontana Amorosa Beach
- Lady's Mile Beach
- Manolis Bay
- National Park Akamas
- Acrotiri Sand Dunes
- The Baths of Adonis
You must return the car to the Home Zone, and park on any free public parking spot convenient for you. You may start in one city and finish in another — no problem. There are now Home Zones in Paphos, Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and in both airports (Finish rental at the airport costs — €19). But it is not possible to finish a rent outside the Home Zone. The precise boundary is shown in the app.
There are places in Cyprus without internet. This means that before you try to close the car, check the mobile internet signal in your phone. If the number of bars near the mobile internet icon is less than three, so we do not recommend locking the car and moving far away from it. The car may not open afterwards. Most often there is no internet connection at all in the mountains and away from villages. Here is a list of popular places where we do not guarantee connection to the car:
